Pelagic Safari | Sailfish
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Description
Every year the sardines arrive to the mixture of warm and cold currents in Yucatan Peninsula. During this expedition to Cancun we will venture into the blue in a private boat in the hopes of encountering sardine bait balls surrounded by many sailfish. This action has been featured in many nature documentaries and every year we are amazed by the variety and the potential for big pelagic fauna encounters. Join us in a quick weekend getaway (from Friday to Sunday) to focus exclusively on sailfish bait balls in the open ocean.
When the conditions are right (good weather after a good northern storm) we will be searching for static bait ball in blue water in order to closely capture sail fish eating individual sardines. Capturing the exact moment in which the sailfish hit the sardines and then swallow them has never been easy. But we will stay many hours out in the ocean
